Description from Double Helix:
She's back! Terra was originally released in April of 2007 and was our most popular color. Unfortunately the formula was unstable and we could only produce a few batches of her. We've been trying to solve the mystery for 3 years while our customers pleaded with us to bring her back!
Finally the mystery is solved and Terra2 is here! Using the same colorant system we used in the original Terra but in a stabilized formula we have recreated Terra. She is opaque; she lusters and maintains her luster under clear. She strikes and does it easily under an encasement. We recommend you work hot, cool, reduce and encase.
Based on test batches #TE-317, TE-320 and TE-362.
This glass is excellent for glass bead making and other types of glass lampworking, and is compatible with other glass rods that have a coefficient of expansion of "104".
