Reichenbach FritWe offer Reichenbach Frit in COE 94 and 104.
The grain size of the COE 94 is well controlled at the factory. We mostly offer the frit in grain size "K0". We also sometimes are able to offer "K1" or "Mehl". Please see the article listings for availability. Compared to "K0", "K1" is the next coarser grain size, and "Mehl" ist the next finer grain size. Mehl in German means flour in English, but the "Mehl" grain size is not nearly as fine as wheat flour that we use for baking bread. The grain size of the COE 104 frit that we offer is not controlled at the factory and we have not yet developed a method of controlling the size. Therefore, the grain size of the frit that you will receive when you purchase the COE 104 frit can vary greatly. Sometimes we receive glass chunks 1-2cm in diameter. Since we don´t have the means to crush it any smaller, we also sell the glass chunks in this size. |
