Hot Head One-Gas-Burner
with Hose Barb

Offered here is the original Hot Head One-Gas-Burner from the USA. The burner was specially designed by Hot Head Glass with the glass bead maker in mind.

Included in the price is the hose barb adapter which is basically a fitting that allows a 6mm ID (inside diameter) propane hose to be attached to the burner. In the picture, the adapter is shown attached to the burner. The burner runs on propane gas, also known as LPG, which can be purchased from your local propane gas dealer.

A one gas burner generally has a louder and cooler flame than a two gas burner and the flame is generally not as clean as a two gas burner. The very clean flame of a two gas burner can be attributed to the addition of the second gas, oxygen, which facilitates complete combustion of the propane.

That being said, the Hot Head one gas burner has been optimized to allow for excellent combustion and is widely used by glass bead makers around the world.

In addition to this item, you will need the following:
1. one bottle of propane gas (also known as LPG).
2. one 4 bar propane regulator.
3. one propane hose with an approximate 6mm inside diameter.
4. two hose clamps to fasten the propane hose to the hose barbs of the regulator and burner.
5. one burner foot or mounting device to secure the burner head to your work bench.
