2€ Extra Shipping Fee
for deliveries with Hermes
Important - Please Read!

Question: Under what conditions should I buy this "2€ Extra Shipping Fee"?
Answer: If you are ordering borosilicate glass rods and having them shipped with Hermes, and you want to receive the rods in 50cm lengths, this 2€ fee will need to be in your shopping cart at the time of checkout.

Question: Why?
Answer: Hermes prices are dependent upon the size of the package. We cannot fit the 50cm lengths into our normal Hermes "S" package. The next size up; the Hermes "M" package costs us 2€ extra.

Question: Is the checkout procedure more complicated if I buy borosilicate glass?
Answer: No, the checkout procedure is exactly the same.

Question: What if I don´t buy this "2€ Extra Shipping Fee" and still choose Hermes as my shipping option in the checkout procedure?
Answer: We will cut the 50cm rods in half so that they fit into the Hermes "S" package. (Don´t worry, the rods are still good when they are 25cm long, and you can easily just melt them back together.)

Question: Do I need to buy this "2€ Extra Shipping Fee" for each borosilicate rod I have in my shopping cart?
Answer: No. Please don´t do that. Regardless of whether you buy 1 or 1000 borosilicate rods, you only need to pay the "2€ Extra Shipping Fee" once!

Question: Do I need to buy this "2€ Extra Shipping Fee" if my order qualifies for free shipping within Germany on orders over 80€?
Answer: Yes.

Question: What if I want my goods shipped with DHL?
Answer: Don´t buy this "2€ Extra Shipping Fee" and simply choose DHL as your shipping option in the checkout procedure.

Question: What about borosilicate tubes? You only mentioned rods above?
Answer: The same rules apply for the borosilicate tubing we sell.
