Arke
Description:Arke 2 is our updated formula that increased the silver and improved rod quality.  Arke 2 is a transparent cobalt luster color that develops a variety of exterior metallic finishes and holds it’s luster under a clear encasement.  It’s the lightest of our three cobalt silver glasses; Arke 2, Triton and Iris.  Variations in flame chemistry, exposure time and temperature alter the color of the exterior luster.

Hyperion
Hyperion is a relative of Clio and our CX test series. A strong reduction color that is designed to strike automatically during the bead making process to medium amber. Encasing the light reduction in clear results in a purple pearlescent luster. For best results, follow the reset and cooling process for Striking Colors, then reduce.

Jinx
DH Description:Jinx is our first silvered opal.  This opal produces a range of misty opal blue and blue-green tones.  The luster is best left exposed, and can be silver, gold, or iridescent depending on  flame characteristics.  Same as test batch ELX-891For Best Results:  Higher temperatures and longer annealing times can initiate further opacification of the opal.  Encasing the Opal will also add heat and time so adjust your annealing accordingly or plan on having more opacity.  We recommend using moderately thin layers of the color and annealing to 925°f.

Melia 2
Description by DHMelia 2 is a chrome-free reformulation of Melia.  A teal version of the Arke, Iris, and Iaso family. Different metallic effects are possible depending on the reduction techniques you use.  Melia 2 retains its luster under clear encasement.  An opaque Celadon Blue can develop with extended annealing, about one hour at 950F.  Lower annealing temperatures and/or shorter times maintain the transparent teal. For all reduction techniques, cool the glass before reducing and keep the glass from overheating (turning orange).Rainbow iridescent; use a large brush reduction flame, briefly pass the glass right through the candles, repeating until the colors develop.Mirrored silver luster; rotate the bead further out in a reduction flame. Repeat until the desired luster is visible.Textured satin; repeatedly pass the bead through the very farthest reaches of the reduction flame without letting the bead get hot again.

Okeanos 2
Okeanos 2 is a blue striking and reducing color.  Reformulated with the same nucleation system as Terra 3 and Ekho 2, it strikes to a range of blues, greens, purples and amber.  It works well on the surface or encased.  Super-heating can cause phase separation, resulting in webbing.  Okeanos 2 is capable of developing a subtle luster and retaining that luster under clear encasement.Okeanos 2 is easy to strike using the reset/cool/warm sequence.  Our benchmark times for surface application are Reset/30 seconds, cool/30 seconds, strike. Specific times and color outcomes vary depending on several factors.

Psyche
Description by Manufacturer Psyche is strong silver reduction glass in a dark purple base.  Depending on the reduction process, Psyche can produce a mirrored or rainbow oil slick appearance.  If encased, the luster results in a pearlescent effect.Work in a neutral flame.  Cool until the glass is no longer glowing.  Expose the glass to a reduction flame, while keeping it from getting hot.  Brief (5-10 seconds) and repeated exposures produces the best results.

Skiron
Description by manufacturer:Skiron is our new, sliver-striking, rainbow glass. A major improvement over Luna 3 and Khaos, it resists over striking to khaki. Skiron works best when reset, cooled, and struck. Cooling and striking times will vary based on bead size, flame temperature, and other factors but general guidelines are; Surface applications: reset, cool for 30 seconds, strike for 30-45 seconds. Encased applications: encase, reset, cool for 45 seconds, strike for 45-60 seconds. The cooling cycle is an important factor in repeatable end results. Shorter than recommended cooling times typically yield white and purple, while longer cooling times can yield dark Amber with blue tints. Somewhere in between lies the ideal cooling/striking timing for your application and set up.

Terra 3
Description by Manufacturer "Terra 3 is a dual color; capable of reducing or striking.Terra 3 can be used as a surface luster, struck on the surface, or struck under a thin encasement layer. The cooling and warming portions of the striking sequence for this glass are both approximately 45 seconds. Specific times may vary depending on several factors. For best results in a striking application, apply a thin layer of clear glass to encase, then reset the Terra 3, cool, and strike the color through the clear."
